Plot Synopsis

Three young people came to a mountain village deep in the Qinling Mountains to explore the legend about the Holy Spring. However, they found that anyone who entered the village would suffer from hysteria. After a series of strange and eerie incidents, with the reminder of Li Er, a crazy villager, the three discovered that there was an ancient tomb beneath the village. Due to the leakage of mercury from the anti-theft layer of the ancient tomb, the villagers were poisoned by mercury. The three persuaded the village chief to lead the villagers to leave. Unexpectedly, it was the village chief who used mercury poisoning and the legend to control the villagers in order to achieve his own purpose of trafficking in cultural relics. In the end, the village chief was brought to justice by the relevant departments. The three also unraveled the secret of the Holy Spring and saved the villagers.
