Plot Synopsis

Huo Tingzhi had doted on Xu Yan for more than twenty years. She thought that they would naturally be together, get married, have children, and live a happy life. However, Huo Tingzhi refused Xu Yan's confession due to the reputation of the family. He even found his female secretary, Bai He, to have a fake marriage just to make Xu Yan give up. Under Huo Tingzhi's connivance, Bai He bullied Xu Yan again and again until Xu Yan was completely disheartened and left Huo Tingzhi. Finally, Huo Tingzhi could no longer restrain his love and used all means to beg Xu Yan to come back.
