Plot Synopsis

Chen Bahuang, with outstanding achievements, retired and returned to his hometown, only to find that his beloved wife, Yun Mengli, had been forced to remarry. He rushed to the wedding and was besieged by Tang Yunjie and his sister along with their men. Fortunately, he managed to resolve the crisis by virtue of his own connections and also taught the arrogant siblings a good lesson. After returning home with Yun Mengli, the Yun family was deeply mired in financial difficulties. Chen Bahuang bravely took on the heavy burden of recovering the tricky debts, helping Yun Mengli gain a foothold in the family. However, the Yun family proved to be ungrateful and regarded him as a glory-stealing villain. But Chen Bahuang didn't mind at all and was wholeheartedly preparing for a dream wedding.
