Plot Synopsis

Du Fu offended the Military Advisor of Luoyang Prefecture, so he bid farewell to his family and traveled around Wu and Yue. When he was twenty-five years old, he returned to Gongyi to take the imperial examination for Jinshi degree but failed. However, his reputation as a poet had already risen.
