Plot Synopsis

Yang Chenguang was an honest and down-to-earth farmer. He worked with the villagers in the rice fields of the village head, Zhou Jingwei, harvesting rice to earn wages. However, Yang Chenguang accidentally acquired the ability to see the time of death of other people. On an ordinary day, Yang Chenguang was working in the rice fields. But after seeing the time of death of everyone, he guessed that a flood would break out that day. So he appealed to everyone to take shelter from the flood, but no one believed him and they all mocked him severely. Helpless, Yang Chenguang had no choice but to set fire to the rice. The crowd's reaction instantly escalated from humiliation to physical conflict. But then the flood really did break out. The villagers hurriedly sought shelter from the flood, while Yang Chenguang, through seeing the time of death, foresaw an even greater crisis.
