Plot Synopsis

Wang Cong'er, the leader of the White Lotus Sect from a family of martial arts, was brave and resourceful with excellent martial arts skills. She was discussing the uprising with the general manager Wang Qing and the military strategist Liu Sanhuai when suddenly they were surrounded by the Qing army. Wang Cong'er escaped by jumping off the cliff. The Qing government posted notices offering rewards for her arrest all over the city. Cong'er and her father disguised themselves as itinerant performers to leave the city, but they were secretly followed by the Qing soldiers all the way. They realized that there was a traitor among them, and indeed Liu Sanhuai was the traitor. Knowing that his death was approaching, Liu Sanhuai hanged himself in shame. Wang Cong'er killed the tracking Qing soldiers and once again raised the banner to start the uprising.
