The Female Forensic Doctor in the Song Dynasty

Plot Synopsis

This drama tells the story of a female forensic doctor who solved a case of a whole family being murdered eighteen years ago during the Song Dynasty. The female forensic doctor, Leng Yanxi, was invited to visit her senior fellow apprentice's home. Unexpectedly, she saw that the whole family of her senior fellow apprentice had been brutally killed. Fortunately, Zhang Sheng, the son of her senior fellow apprentice, escaped this disaster. However, Zhang Sheng believed that it was all done by Leng Yanxi. Zhang Sheng got close to Leng Yanxi and became her apprentice, waiting for an opportunity to avenge his parents. During the twenty years of their master-apprentice relationship, Zhang Sheng painstakingly sought an opportunity to strike but failed.
