The Female Detective in the Republic of China

Plot Synopsis

This story tells a tale that the net of justice has large meshes but lets nothing through and that evil can never prevail over good. Chief Inspector Ding of the police station and Feng Datou, a wealthy local merchant, colluded with foreign devils and traitors to sell opium for their own selfish interests. They were willing to sacrifice the lives of the innocent Sun and Zhou families without hesitation in order to find the legendary treasure, and they completely ignored the peril of the country. Female Inspector Huo Qing arrived in Pujiang Town with her capable assistant Yan'er. Although there were many misunderstandings with Xing Yi, the deputy chief of the police station, fortunately they cleared things up in time. The three of them joined hands to solve the massacre cases of the Sun and Zhou families, exposed the traitorous crimes of Chief Inspector Ding and Feng Datou, and all the truths of the cases came to light. The bad guys also received the punishments they deserved.
