The Factory Closed Down After I Was Laid Off

Plot Synopsis

Dong Zhengye is a Grade 8 worker and chief technician in Zhonghe Factory. He has worked for the factory for many years. However, due to his age and salary, he is disliked by the senior management who wants to replace him with his apprentice Chen Yang. The ungrateful apprentice causes him to be laid off. The apprentice's eagerness for quick success leads to product defects and an accident. Dong Zhengye arrives at the scene and announces the results to slap his apprentice in the face.
