Plot Synopsis

The young painter Lin Yao firmly remembered his master's ironclad rule of "never painting the eyes of people". Due to his paintings having no eyes, his business was extremely poor. One day, the beautiful young woman Du Lanyin came to his door and pleaded with Lin Yao to paint a portrait of her deceased husband using his ashes mixed with lead ink as a keepsake.
