Plot Synopsis

A rare heavy rain hit Wanghai Village in Xianghai. Huang Yu, the village director of Wanghai Village, was diagnosed with cancer. Due to the damage caused by Wanghai Village to Xianghai Nature Reserve, the relevant departments decided to remove Wanghai Village from the administrative division. Huang Yu returned to Wanghai Village and decided to save his hometown with actions. He intercepted the disaster relief funds provided by the government and bought saplings and grass seeds. Qiao Haishan reported to the township and county governments about Huang Yu's misappropriation of the disaster relief funds, which put Huang Yu in great trouble. But this didn't defeat Huang Yu. With the last strength of his life, he sounded the clarion call to defend his homeland, making the villagers realize the importance of protecting nature. Xianghai regained its beauty.
