Plot Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, the Chu family, the top aristocratic family in Shangjing, was besieged and wiped out by numerous aristocratic families led by the Long family. Chu Chen, the last descendant of the Chu family, escaped with his life under the sacrifice of his parents. Eventually, he drifted to Jiangzhou and was rescued by the old master of the Qin family in Jiangzhou. After Chu Chen recovered from his injuries, by chance, he was taken a fancy to by the master of the Shedao Sect who was traveling around. After years of practicing spells, he became the new-generation successor of the Shedao Sect. He lent out Shedao debts to the whole world and finally destroyed his enemies, living a happy life with his wife Qin Wanqiu.
