Plot Synopsis

Qiao Huaizhu accidentally saved Xie Yu'an who had been drugged and gave birth to a pair of twins, a boy and a girl. In order to help Qiao Shouye, Zhang Cuihua sold her granddaughter Xingxing to Qin Shuya, Xie Yu'an's mother, and only kept the grandson Doudou. Twenty years later, Qiao Huaizhu agreed to get married and use the betrothal gifts to pay for Zhang Cuihua's surgery in order to treat her illness. Unexpectedly, it all turned out to be a scam set up by Zhang Cuihua to find a wife for Qiao Shouye.
