The Cultivation of a Magician

Plot Synopsis

Magician Liu Feng was a vagrant since childhood, begging on the roadside for a living. Later, he was adopted by the master magician Zhang Anmin and became his apprentice. Zhang Anmin gave him the name Liu Feng. Since then, Liu Feng had been following his master Zhang Anmin to perform magic shows everywhere. During a magic performance, Zhang Anmin was framed by his apprentice Lin Yu, which led to an accident in the magic show. The assistant died and Zhang Anmin was sentenced to ten years in prison. Liu Feng watched his master being taken away with his own eyes. The real culprit was Lin Yu, his senior fellow apprentice who had grown up with him. The reason why Lin Yu did this was to obtain the information about the world's top magic trick "Swallowing the Sun" in Zhang Anmin's hands. After Zhang Anmin was imprisoned, Liu Feng had nowhere to go. He dropped out of school and started working while also delving into magic.
