Plot Synopsis

Gu Mian, a female doctor, and her mother went up the mountain to collect herbs and saved Crown Prince Xiao Heng. However, they were discovered by Xie Yushu, the legitimate daughter of the Duke of Yingguo. Xie Yushu took the identity of the savior by false pretenses and brutally killed Gu Mian's mother and younger brother.
