Plot Synopsis

Wu Fan, whose family had fallen on hard times, was in charge of the Fan Family's Benevolent Estate. Ming Zhuo, a down-and-out scholar, accidentally entered the place and later became Wu Fan's apprentice. The master and apprentice traveled eastward and solved many strange cases, destroying the strongholds of the mysterious organization "Qinglian Sect". This sect was extremely cruel and used the pretext of ghosts and gods to seek wealth and harm lives. During the investigation, it was discovered that Wu Fan had a mysterious connection with the Qinglian Sect and there was a mystery about his life experience. A battle between good and evil had begun, and it was full of suspense whether they could uncover the truth and uphold justice.
