Plot Synopsis

There was a daughter in the Feng family. According to the late emperor's will, she was supposed to become the empress. However, she gave birth to twin daughters and was regarded as inauspicious. The elder sister, Feng Jiuyan, disguised herself as a man and became General Meng. The younger sister, Feng Weiqiang, was waiting to get married. Before entering the palace, Weiqiang was persecuted by bandits instigated by the imperial noble consort and went insane. She committed suicide after being locked in a dark room.
