Plot Synopsis

Cheng Wan'er, the daughter of a wealthy merchant, eloped with Xia Dashan. When she was giving birth, her father, Cheng Fu, forcibly took away their daughter. Years later, Xia Dashan was seriously ill. He took his daughter, Xia Mingyue, back to the Cheng Mansion to seek relatives but was repeatedly blocked by Cheng Fu. After Xia Dashan died, Xia Mingyue entered the Cheng Mansion full of hatred.
