Plot Synopsis

The male protagonist is the master of the Saint Doctor Sect. He was a disciple of Bian Que. Three years ago, he was chased by his second uncle. The female protagonist, Zhou Ruoruo, saved the male protagonist. Three years later, he came out of seclusion and only wanted to repay Zhou Ruoruo for saving his life. Learning that Zhou Ruoruo was disfigured and her legs were disabled because of saving him back then and became the ugliest woman in the eyes of the whole city, the male protagonist went to Zhou Ruoruo's home and saw that she was forced into marriage by a bully and had become a tool for the bully to have children. The male protagonist dealt with the bully and took the female protagonist home to cure her. After the female protagonist returned home, her family opposed the marriage contract between her and the male protagonist. Her cousins in the family made things difficult for her again and again. Meanwhile, the male protagonist's second uncle found him, and the male protagonist had to fight a battle of wi
