Plot Synopsis

Lin Xuan was living a poor life in the Taoist temple and was in a difficult situation due to the death of his beloved teacher. One day, there was a sudden clap of thunder, and Ji Pianpian fell from the sky as a baby, claiming to be the ancestor of the Taoist sect who had failed in ascending to immortality. Although Ji Pianpian looked like a baby on the outside, she possessed extraordinary wisdom and abilities. She decided to help Lin Xuan change his fate against the will of heaven. Under Ji Pianpian's guidance, Lin Xuan discovered the East Sea luminous pearl in the water tank of the Taoist temple and thus obtained his first fortune. Subsequently, Ji Pianpian also helped Lin Xuan break the singlehood curse, allowing him to meet Meng Shuran, a beautiful woman who was facing difficulties in her marriage.
