Plot Synopsis

New David - the posthumous half-breed of the special envoy of the Great Qing Dynasty and an Austrian princess. After growing up in the Western world, he returned to his motherland - the closed and conservative Great Qing Dynasty which was being bullied by the powerful foreign powers, under the order of his mother. He became the live-in son-in-law of a down-and-out antique prince's family and a "fake foreign devil" in the eyes of the people on the Colored Glaze Street. When he came back to his homeland to search for the miraculous oriental legends, what he encountered was the massacre in the imperial court. Accustomed to a life of freedom, he was strictly trained to be a son-in-law of the Great Qing Dynasty. He was a man with universal love. He liked the beauty and gentleness of the local girls, but this led to a love triangle and brought about some ridiculous misunderstandings...
