Plot Synopsis

Emperor Xiao Ze of the Southern Dynasties personally led the imperial army on a punitive expedition. However, Prime Minister Li Jingxuan launched a coup by force, killed the empress, imprisoned the emperor's confidants, and put the crown prince under house arrest.
