That Cold Winter

Plot Synopsis

Tian Ruida is an honest migrant worker foreman. All he wants is to get projects for the workers and seek benefits for them. He always believes that sincerity can be exchanged for sincerity, but he has underestimated the ugliness of human nature. In the dead of winter, he risked his life to get a project. He thought that everyone could have a good New Year, but little did he know that the workers were thinking of kicking the ladder away after crossing the river. During the argument, his pregnant wife was so frightened that she gave birth prematurely, almost causing a major disaster. Finally, Tian Ruida made up his mind to cut off all ties with these workers and go his own way.
