Plot Synopsis

With the help of Lin Qing, a volunteer teacher, Xu Xiaofeng, a girl from a mountain village, passed the preliminary round of the national mathematics competition and got the chance to change her fate. However, her family forced her to marry Wang Tiezhu, the tyrant of the village who was much older. Lin Qing stepped forward bravely and vowed to protect Xiaofeng to pursue her academic dream. With the support of the villagers, the two overcame numerous difficulties and went to the city to participate in the competition. Xiaofeng performed excellently, but she encountered doubts and false accusations at the celebration banquet. Facing insults and injustices, Lin Qing stood firmly by Xiaofeng's side and fought against prejudices and threats together. This battle concerning dreams and dignity not only tested Xiaofeng's will but also challenged Lin Qing's belief as an educator.
