Plot Synopsis

After the Opium War in 1840, the Qing Dynasty declined step by step. Western powers flocked in and greedily plundered the resources and wealth of this ancient eastern country. Meanwhile, Japan, which was across the sea, was no longer content to be behind the Western powers and also cast its covetous eyes on the weak and backward Qing Dynasty.
