Plot Synopsis

During the Northern Song Dynasty, with the support and education of his father Su Xun, Su Shi, along with his younger brother Su Zhe and father Su Xun, all passed the imperial examination and began their political careers. Su Shi served in the imperial court for eight years, holding high positions and significant power. He once had a disagreement with Wang Anshi during the implementation of new laws and was dismissed from his official post. Since then, Su Shi was not tolerated by the imperial court and voluntarily sought to be assigned to positions outside the capital. He achieved remarkable political achievements and won the hearts of the people. During this period, he also created a large number of works. Su Shi's life was full of ups and downs. In terms of emotions, his wife and children all passed away prematurely, and his relatives and beloved ones left one by one.
