Plot Synopsis

Jiang Lei and her college classmate Wu Yuan had been in love for five years. The two went to pick up Wu Yuan's mother at the high-speed railway station. Jiang Lei tolerated everything about her mother-in-law in life and compromised for the sake of love. However, Wu Yuan indulged his mother. His mother spent the money that Jiang Lei had saved with great effort. After Jiang Lei found an excuse to get back the bankbook, the mother-in-law schemed to cause a rift between Wu Yuan and Jiang Lei. Wu Yuan obeyed his mother's every word and lost his ability to judge. He drove Jiang Lei away. Jiang Lei was disheartened. Under the comfort of her best friend, she decided to start a new life. Unexpectedly, she found out that she was pregnant. Jiang Lei told her mother that she wanted to have an abortion. Jiang Lei's father, not knowing the true nature of the mother-in-law and Wu Yuan, informed Wu Yuan to take Jiang Lei back and promised to buy a house for the two of them.
