Plot Synopsis

The famous Dan actor (a male role type in traditional Chinese opera) Boss Cui in Beiping was cheated by his boyfriend and left for Shanghai in low spirits. Due to business difficulties, the theater owner asked Boss Cui to merge his troupe with the Qingyi troupe (a female role type in traditional Chinese opera troupe) under his banner. However, the several female masters were constantly in conflict and often bickered with each other in anger. The gangster boss Zhang of the Green Gang in Shanghai took a fancy to the beauty of Boss Sai, one of the masters in the theater, and tried every means to forcibly possess her.
