Plot Synopsis

Gu Yao went back to Qin Xufeng's hometown to celebrate the Spring Festival with her boyfriend Qin Xufeng. Qin Xufeng's family looked down on Gu Yao and tried to match Qin Xufeng with Zhao Manman, the daughter of the village chief, in the hope that he could marry into a wealthy family. Moreover, they framed Gu Yao as a thief and humiliated her. Qin Xufeng managed to get involved with Zhao Manman and brought her back home to further humiliate Gu Yao. However, they didn't expect that Gu Yao's father was the president of the Wanhao Group. As a result, Zhaomiao Village lost an investment of hundreds of millions of yuan from the Wanhao Group.
