Plot Synopsis

Xue Niang was going back to her hometown with her parents. On the way, they were robbed by mountain bandits such as Xia Sanhu and Xu Jun. Her parents died tragically, but Xue Niang survived and was rescued by Fan Jin. The two got married. On the day when their son Tianxiang was one month old, Xia Sanhu abducted the son and Fan Jin abandoned Xue Niang and left. Xia Sanhu was betrayed by Xu Jun and Liu Yingchun and got arrested. Xue Niang snatched back her son and went to Cangzhou to seek relatives. In Fan's mansion, Xue Niang happened to see Liu Yingchun and Xu Jun's adulterous affair and was almost killed. Fortunately, she was saved by Xia Sanhu who had escaped from prison to seek revenge. Fan Jin was plotted against by Liu Yingchun and Xu Jun, and his family property was occupied. He was full of remorse. He went on a long journey to look for his wife and son, fainted on the street, and was rescued by Lady Qian.
