Plot Synopsis

Li Xinxin, a little girl, was unable to speak due to a vocal disorder and accidentally got separated from her mother Zhang Xuemei. Zhang Xuemei strived hard to find her daughter and mobilized the common people to look for Li Xinxin together by distributing porridge during disaster relief. During the sixteen years when she was separated from her daughter, Zhang Xuemei demonstrated extraordinary wisdom and courage. She offered strategies to suppress the rebellion in the northern border and saved countless people from dire straits. With her remarkable achievements, she was conferred the title of Duke of Pei by the imperial court. However, she was always worried about her daughter in her heart and never gave up the hope of finding her.
