Plot Synopsis

The female protagonist, Xiao Mingyue, is the daughter of Emperor Xiao Chengyu. At the age of ten, when Xiao Chengyu was assassinated, Xiao Mingyue was captured while trying to save her father. Later, she lost her memory and ended up selling poems on the street. She was sold by human traffickers to Shen Yin, the son of the dean of the Imperial Academy, as a child bride. Shen Yin is cruel-hearted and has long exerted mental control over Xiao Mingyue and made her take exams on his behalf.
