Plot Synopsis

Ten years ago, Li Changcheng, the football god, was disgraced in a football match that was framed by Gao Tianbao, the second senior apprentice. Since then, he became dispirited and retired to a small-town stadium, never touching football again. Ten years later, Longcheng's football has become a laughingstock. Neon challenges Longcheng provocatively. Longcheng is eager for the football god to reappear and wash away the humiliation for the city. Dongfang Xue, the president of the Football League, has been searching for Li Changcheng, the football god, but to no avail. Meanwhile, the small-town stadium is facing a crisis. Finally, Li Changcheng can no longer endure it. He uses his famous stunt, "Flying Dragon in the Sky", to save the stadium. After that, persuaded by Dongfang Xue, Li Changcheng decides to find his former fellow apprentices and reorganize the Shaolin football team.
