Plot Synopsis

On the way to his girlfriend's home to have the New Year's Eve dinner with his mother, Ning Xuan's girlfriend received a call from her childhood sweetheart. She left Ning Xuan and his mother on the roadside, which caused Ning Xuan's mother to have a heart attack due to the cold and die. Ning Xuan broke up with his girlfriend. The girlfriend didn't know that Ning Xuan's mother had passed away. She thought Ning Xuan was just throwing a tantrum. She informed Ning Xuan that the engagement banquet would be held seven days later, not knowing that it was the day when Ning Xuan would leave with his mother's ashes to start a round-the-world trip. At the engagement banquet, the girlfriend waited for a long time but the male lead didn't show up. Instead, she received a box with the death certificate of Ning Xuan's mother.
