Plot Synopsis

In her previous life, when Chi Yueying was young, she fell in love with Xie Qingchen who concealed his identity. Later, she was selected to enter the palace as a palace maid. She was forcibly taken as a concubine by the emperor and had to struggle to survive in the harem. However, the emperor was fatuous and neglected military affairs. As a result, the people from the grasslands advanced all the way and besieged the capital city. In order to negotiate for peace, the emperor actually sent Chi Yueying, who was already a noble consort, to the king of the grasslands to be toyed with. And by doing this, he set a trap to lure and kill Xie Qingchen, the Lord of Nanchen.
