Plot Synopsis

In southern China, two villages carried the grudges accumulated over history. Long Dabang from Shanghe Village, out of his love for his hometown, gave up the big city life and returned to the village to be elected as the village chief. He led the villagers to start from scratch and embark on a path of rapid development. Lu Jingui, the village chief of Xiahe Village, used to be a good friend of Long Dabang when they were young. But now, for the interests of their respective villages, they have become rivals. Facing the conflicts of actual interests, they took basketball as a bridge of communication and used the games to resolve the conflicts and decide their fates. Long Dabang had deep feelings for the land. He took the initiative to close his company and stop the mining. He went to look for Boss Huang who was involved in a scam, staging a spectacular basketball drama with an astonishing reversal. Long Dabang gradually became clear about the way ahead and won the hearts of the young people from both villages.
