Plot Synopsis

Su Yi, a descendant of a great medical sage, was willing to become a useless live-in son-in-law for Xia Yuhe, the daughter of the Xia family. With his superb medical skills, Su Yi saved Tang Siye in Haicheng and exposed the person who poisoned him behind the scenes, thus attracting the attention of various forces. Su Yi misunderstood that his wife Xia Yuhe was having an affair with Su Shibai and wanted to divorce her. At a banquet, Yao Bing insulted Xia Yuhe. With the help of Yang Tianba, Su Yi taught Yao Bing a lesson. Yao Bing still wouldn't give up and threatened Su Yi. Tang Siye came to his aid and dealt with Yao Bing for Su Yi. Since then, Zhang Lan, Su Yi's mother-in-law, changed her mean attitude towards Su Yi, and Su Yi also became the head of the Xia family.
