Plot Synopsis

Shang Ziyang, the president of Haicheng Chamber of Commerce, is suspected of raping and murdering his secretary Li Hua. The Department of Justice appoints lawyer Lu Zhiyao to prosecute him, resulting in Shang Ziyang being convicted for seven years. Seven years later, Lu Zhiyao's wedding is disrupted by a mistress. Coincidentally, she meets Shang Ziyang who has become a runner after being released from prison. Shang Ziyang's intentional or unintentional approach makes Lu Zhiyao extremely panicked. However, Lu Zhiyao discovers that Shang Ziyang has no malicious intentions. After getting to know each other, they find that there are strange things about what happened back then and gradually search for clues. Eventually, Shang Ziyang's injustice is cleared. Their feelings also rapidly heat up after this series of events and they finally get married.
