Plot Synopsis

In the late Eastern Han Dynasty, the country was in turmoil and the Liu Han Dynasty was on the verge of collapse. Inside the court, the Ten Eunuchs were confounding right and wrong and throwing the imperial court into chaos. Outside, the Zhang brothers raised the slogan "The Blue Heaven is dead, and the Yellow Heaven shall reign" and launched a massive peasant uprising. All of a sudden, beacons of war blazed everywhere, and the Liu family's court was like a building on the verge of toppling, in a precarious state. It is said that heroes emerge in troubled times. All kinds of outstanding figures such as Cao Cao, Gongsun Zan, Yuan Shu, Yuan Shao, Lü Bu, Liu Bei, Sun Ce, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Zhuge Liang emerged in succession. From the scramble for supremacy among the heroes to the Battle of Red Cliffs, and from the tripartite confrontation of the Wei, Shu, and Wu kingdoms to the final reunification, the magnificent curtain of the Three Kingdoms era was slowly drawn open.
