Plot Synopsis

Recently, the elderly Zhou Fugui was diagnosed with senile coronary heart disease. The doctor advised him to go to a large hospital in the city for a comprehensive examination. However, this is a difficult problem for him, because his wife has been taking care of the grandchildren for their two sons in the city for ten years, leaving him alone to live in the village. The dual pressures of loneliness and illness make him feel extremely difficult. Such days are hard for him to continue. Facing the challenges to his health and the fetters of family affection, the elderly Zhou Fugui is caught in a deep predicament and is in urgent need of the care and support of his family.
