Plot Synopsis

Xu Linger was born into a wealthy family. Her mother is the president of a group with hundreds of millions of assets, while Liu Feng is from the countryside. Xu Linger married Liu Feng despite the opposition of her mother Zhang Yazhi. On the wedding day, in order to follow the tradition of闹伴娘 (teasing the bridesmaids) in Tazhai Village, Liu Feng and his family still carried it out secretly even though Xu Linger clearly objected. Little did they know that the bridesmaid Liu Feng was teasing was actually Xu Linger's mother. Note: The Chinese expression "闹伴娘" doesn't have a very exact equivalent in English.
