Plot Synopsis

Shen Ruochu had been pampered since childhood and was arrogant and stupid in character. After Shen's mother passed away, Shen's father remarried and formed a new family with the mistress of the nearly bankrupt Gu family. Gu Chen thus became Shen Ruochu's stepbrother. During their daily life together, Shen Ruochu developed a liking for Gu Chen and was even willing to offend Young Master Fu Yixian of the Fu family to defend Gu Chen.
