Plot Synopsis

In order to supplement the family income, Lu Xiaomei set up a street stall to sell stinky tofu at the school gate. However, she was despised by her daughter. Depressed and angry, she fainted on the ground. After examination, it was found that she had advanced breast cancer. When she returned home, she was bullied by her mother-in-law and brother-in-law. Her husband had an affair with the neighbor. The woman had an argument with her husband's family and then went back to her parents' home. Instead of showing understanding, her own mother scolded Lu Xiaomei. On the verge of despair and wanting to end her life, Lu Xiaomei was saved by her old classmate Xu Lingchen. After staying at Xu Lingchen's place for one night, Xu Lingchen sent Lu Xiaomei home and was seen by her mother-in-law. When her husband saw that Lu Xiaomei was wearing men's clothes, he thought that she was having an affair and hurled all kinds of insults at her.
