Plot Synopsis

Because of his painstaking dedication to academics, he neglected to care for his family. As a result, his wife lost her life in an earthquake and his daughter lost both of her legs in the same earthquake. Eventually, both his daughter and he committed suicide. He was reborn, two hours before the earthquake happened. He begged to inform the authorities to reduce casualties, but was angrily rebuked by others who said that an earthquake could never happen here. However, on that very day, the earthquake still occurred!
