Plot Synopsis

Geng Xiaomin was born in Geda Village. He left his hometown to join the army at the age of eighteen. After being discharged from the military, Geng Xiaomin was assigned to work as a cadre. After years of hard work, he successfully became a section-level cadre. He asked for instructions from his superiors to be transferred back to Geda Village, where he was born and raised. The villagers there were waiting for him to go back and build their hometown.
