Quit Smoking but Not Drinking

Plot Synopsis

Yan Baojiu, the head of an investment company in his middle age, has reached the peak of his career and enjoys a happy family life. However, being carried away by success, Yan Baojiu's mind is clouded. His wife leaves angrily because he refuses to give up smoking and drinking. The Risida Amusement Park, which Yan Baojiu financed and developed, is framed by his rivals and ends up in a complete failure, leaving him bankrupt. Embarrassed and helpless, he has to wander the streets with his son Dangdang. Eventually, being hounded by creditors and having no way out, he hides back in his rural hometown. Yan Baojiu decides to start all over again from scratch. After suffering the double blows of bankruptcy and divorce, he struggles from the bottom with his son alone and finally finds happiness.
