Qiangzi's Return to Hometown

Plot Synopsis

Chen Qiangdong went to study abroad. After years of hard work, he returned to his hometown in glory. He originally wanted to repay the kindness of the villagers who had sponsored his schooling back then, so he prepared rich New Year gifts for them. However, he was regarded as a poor wretch by the snobbish villagers who came to freeload. They disliked him in every way and deliberately made things difficult for him. Even his adoptive father Chen Jianguo and sister Chen Xue received countless cold shoulders. Chen Qiangdong couldn't bear it anymore and questioned them aloud, only to learn that the villagers had never sponsored him at all. It was all a scam! Chen Qiangdong was furious and decided to take everything back.
