Plot Synopsis

Princess Chang Le of the Nanyue Kingdom, Ye Zhuxi, was used by her father, the emperor, as a tool to consolidate the imperial court. She was married off to a powerful court official. To please the son-in-law, the emperor specially invited Mr. Gu Hanxun, a tea ceremony expert, to enter the palace to teach the princess. The two fell in love at first sight, but due to etiquette and propriety, they could not express their feelings and had to pour all their emotions into the tea ceremony, later forming their own school. As the wedding date was approaching, the emperor discovered the affection between the two and flew into a rage. In the end, the emperor assassinated Gu Hanxun. Ye Zhuxi accidentally obtained immortality and fell into a deep sleep. She was regarded as an auspicious sign by the royal family, and the Gu and Ye families have since become enemies.
