Plot Synopsis

In the early 1950s, a huge and terrifying shadow loomed over the newly liberated Yinshan. First, a woman who was washing clothes by Yinshan Lake accidentally slipped into the lake and disappeared ever since. Then, two buffaloes that were playing in the lake water also suddenly vanished without a trace. It turned out that this was a deadly trap carefully planned by the Kuomintang enemies for over a year. Taking advantage of the opportunity of the lake being closed off for the past two years, they released piranhas into the lake. A particularly heavy rainstorm and flood were about to come. If the sluice gates were opened to release the floodwater, a large number of piranhas would enter the downstream areas along with the flood, endangering the entire water ecological environment of New China.
