Plot Synopsis

Shanglu, a young female doctor, accidentally saved the injured Emperor Zhu Yuncheng, but was falsely claimed by her best friend Lin Miaoqing. After Lin Miaoqing entered the palace as a concubine, she was bent on getting rid of Shanglu. However, Shanglu managed to rise all the way to the position of Vice President of the Imperial Academy of Medicine by virtue of her medical skills. After learning that Shanglu was pregnant, Lin Miaoqing deliberately framed her. Fortunately, the truth finally came to light. Lin Miaoqing was executed, and the lovers finally got married.
